Materials Review Committee

The Materials Review Committee (MRC)  helps ensure that our messages don’t just check medical boxes—they reflect the voices, values, and lived experiences of the Black communities we serve. Members include doulas, midwives, home visitors, clinicians, pastors, grandparents, new moms, dads, teachers, and others who bring insight from their own lives and professions.

NotMe. NotHer. NotAnymore.

Maternal Health Professionals

Bring your expertise to the table.

We’re looking for doulas, midwives, OB/GYNs, nurses, home visitors, public health educators, social workers, and other maternal and child health professionals to help us ensure that our materials are medically accurate, accessible, and aligned with best practices.

Your insight ensures that every piece we publish reflects both evidence-based care and real-world application.

People with Lived Experience

Review materials from your phone or computer and get paid for your insight.

We’re looking for parents, grandparents, partners, caregivers, faith leaders, teachers, and others with lived experience navigating pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenting in South Carolina. You don’t need a degree to know what works for your family and community—and we want to hear from you.

Community reviewers are paid with digital gift cards for every flyer, brochure, or resource reviewed. You’ll help us create materials that are culturally relevant, respectful, and real.

Help shape what our communities see, hear, and share.
