About #NotUsSC
#NotUsSC empowers Black women and their communities by increasing knowledge of perinatal health, promoting advocacy, and strengthening support systems—until no more mothers, sisters, friends, or aunties are lost to preventable complications during pregnancy or childbirth.
We believe all women can embrace who they are,
define their future, and change the world.

Mission
Our mission is to provide culturally sound education, build responsive support mechanisms, and promote safe, affirming environments that reflect and respect the perinatal needs of Black mothers and birthing people in South Carolina.
Vision
#NotUsSC envisions a future where Black women in South Carolina are protected, heard, and supported at every stage of pregnancy and beyond through equitable healthcare systems and strong community care, because no one should die giving life
